Chuc Mung Nam Moi - Happy New Year!  Say goodbye to the year of the dragon and welcome the Year of the Snake! Downtown Ho Chi Minh City is beautifully decorated - flowers are everywhere!  Flower markets have sprung up all over the city. The flowers come from all regions of the country. One street has been transformed into a huge flower garden with colorful displays to honor the Year of the Snake which will bring good luck and prosperity! Enjoy these photos!

Home Sweet Home

I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted!   The time has flown by.  I have been distracted by some family issues which kept me from blogging. We are feeling more and more at home especially since our shipment arrived in mid- October. How did we ever collect so much so stuff!  I do love having all our familiar things around me.  There is a lot of stuff, but almost everything evokes a happy memory of an event, a trip we took, and/or memories of our family and friends.
