BESTeam Feature: Redemption Art

Aloha! Let's visit Redemption Art's etsy shop this week.  I love visiting this eclectic vintage shop which is located in the beautiful state of Hawaii. Connie has a knack for finding treasures from all over the world on this paradise island! I always gravitate to her Asian finds. Connie mentions that Chinese immigrants arrived in Hawaii around the late 1700's. By the mid 1800's, they had found a settlement in downtown Honolulu.

 

Here's a gorgeous sea foam green vintage Chinese cloisonne dish. The color combinations of sea foam green and the pink of the peonies create a striking look.

 Here is a vintage Chinese green Porcelain glazed pottery jar that was unearthed in downtown Honolulu.  It is about about 80 years old, possibly older, and in very good condition.

 

This is a vintage magical Dragon Bracelet made of mixed metals. In Asian cultures dragons are considered auspicious and will bring good luck,wealth and prosperity.  This is a unique piece that just might bring some good luck your way!

BESTeam Feature: Absolutely Kismet

Absolutely Kismet has been a long time member of the Besteam!  She began creating her own wine charms, stitch markers, and jewelry when she could not find the right gifts for family and friends. Everything she found was too basic or too expensive. So she created her own and personalized them for each recipient, who loved her creations! BESTeam Feature: Boretto Art

Boretto Art's shop has a fabulous collection of original acrylic paintings and fine art prints.  The artists' love of color and passion for art is evident in this Etsy gallery.  Inspiration is derived from their rich surroundings. The paintings are acrylics on canvas or wood using a unique palette knife technique. This artistic Australian based couple have paintings of the classic sites of Australia - Manly Beach, Sydney Opera House, The Rocks, Sydney Harbour. 

 

There are also paintings of scenes from Rome, Paris, Greece, and New York.    

 

 They also feature some still-lifes and modern works. I love these flowers and geishas!

Besteam Feature - Necklaces!

Joy Flower, Patty's Dream Designs, and Yankee Burrow Creations are featured this week! All three shops have a great variety of handcrafted  items ! All three have beautiful collections of jewelry - take a look at these delicious necklaces!

 

Here's Joy's Gold Wire- Wrapped Crystal Pendant with a Gold Chain - it is an original silk painting that has been transferred to a faceted crystal pendant and set with abalone and faceted smokey quartz beads.  So original and so unique! Patty has been busy creating her jewelry collection! Here is a beautiful Jade Necklace with Glass Beads..  It's so soft and feminine- perfect for spring!  Patty's shop is full of lovely handcrafted necklaces, earrings, bracelets, lanyards, and matching sets.
