Creating Etsy treasuries can become an addictive past time. In the past week I have created three!

It is relaxing as well as a creative outlet. It is a challenge to find great items to match the theme. Here are my most recent ones:

BESTeam Feature: Beader Bubbe

Beader Bubbe is a busy grandmother who creates handmade jewelry for her Etsy shop! She is looking forward to the day she can retire and devote more time to making jewelry ( I can totally relate to that).  Agnes enjoys experimenting with a variety of mediums such as polymer clay, natural stones, paper beads, silver, and stamping.

I love these sterling silver earrings with little turquoise beads.

 

Black and white are always in style and this necklace is a classic piece which will never go out of style. It has a tribal look to it as well, which is one of the latest fashion trends. It is made of various sized clay beads.

DeeDeeDzyn 's shop showcases unique handmade jewelry.  Although Delia currently lives in Baltimore, Maryland, she was born and raised in South Africa.  The South African culture has been influential in her designs for her jewelry. The Arabian Night Necklace is a colorful reflection of her early years. It's a piece that will add a bit of drama to your wardrobe!

 

Although the wooden beads in this necklace are from the Philippines, the necklace has an African look! The colors range from beige, cream, tan, and brown.  It's a great neutral piece that will can be worn often.

Delia's beautiful pieces are made from polished and unpolished stones, crystals, glass beads and metal components.  Her necklaces add a statement to a range of outfits from casual to formal.  Need a gift for Mom? BESTeam Feature: Redemption Art

Aloha! Let's visit Redemption Art's etsy shop this week.  I love visiting this eclectic vintage shop which is located in the beautiful state of Hawaii. Connie has a knack for finding treasures from all over the world on this paradise island! I always gravitate to her Asian finds. Connie mentions that Chinese immigrants arrived in Hawaii around the late 1700's. By the mid 1800's, they had found a settlement in downtown Honolulu.

 

Here's a gorgeous sea foam green vintage Chinese cloisonne dish. The color combinations of sea foam green and the pink of the peonies create a striking look.

 Here is a vintage Chinese green Porcelain glazed pottery jar that was unearthed in downtown Honolulu.  It is about about 80 years old, possibly older, and in very good condition.

 

This is a vintage magical Dragon Bracelet made of mixed metals. In Asian cultures dragons are considered auspicious and will bring good luck,wealth and prosperity.  This is a unique piece that just might bring some good luck your way!

Absolutely Kismet has been a long time member of the Besteam!  She began creating her own wine charms, stitch markers, and jewelry when she could not find the right gifts for family and friends. Everything she found was too basic or too expensive. So she created her own and personalized them for each recipient, who loved her creations! BESTeam Feature: Boretto Art

Boretto Art's shop has a fabulous collection of original acrylic paintings and fine art prints.  The artists' love of color and passion for art is evident in this Etsy gallery.  Inspiration is derived from their rich surroundings. The paintings are acrylics on canvas or wood using a unique palette knife technique. This artistic Australian based couple have paintings of the classic sites of Australia - Manly Beach, Sydney Opera House, The Rocks, Sydney Harbour. 

 

There are also paintings of scenes from Rome, Paris, Greece, and New York.    

 

 They also feature some still-lifes and modern works. I love these flowers and geishas!

Besteam Feature - Necklaces!

Joy Flower, Patty's Dream Designs, and Yankee Burrow Creations are featured this week! All three shops have a great variety of handcrafted  items ! All three have beautiful collections of jewelry - take a look at these delicious necklaces!

Hawaiian Get-Away

Time for a little vacation and I am thinking a virtual trip to Hawaii is in order for our BESTeam members and fans.   

 Redemption Art has unique vintage Hawaiian pieces to set the mood ...
